Healing Sound Retreat Day

Enjoy a 4 hour sound healing retreat to cleanse and rebalance the body. We will explore vocal toning techniques to balance the chakras, a heart opening cacao ceremony and finish with a relaxing sound journey. Suitable for beginners and experienced practitioners alike.

Yin & Myo Fascial Workshop - Autumn

This year 27 October is the day we turn the clocks back and while we all love the extra hour in bed, it can be disruptive to our natural rhythms. Join Ruth for an afternoon of yin and myofascial release. Stretching out and releasing tired, aching muscles before a lovely long Savasana and sound bath! Taking time to ground and adjust as we head deeper into Autumn. Traditional Chinese Medicine recognises Autumn as a time for gathering what we need for the colder, darker months and letting go of things we no longer need. It is also associated with our lungs so expect lots of calming breathwork and poses to open and stretch the shoulders and upper back. Sunday 27 October 2.30 - 4.30pm £30

Mindfulness - Sight & Sound

All our senses can be used to practise mindfulness and to tune into the present moment. This 90 minute class will focus specifically on what you can see and hear to help you feel calm and thankful for what you have and where you are. The gentle practises will be used to quiet your mind and bring a sense of peace and gratitude. You do not need any previous experience of mindfulness to join this class which will be done sitting or lying down. All you need to bring is yourself. Saturday 2 November 10 – 11.30am £20

We are all wired differently so it may take some trial and error to find what gives you the best results. This 90 minute class will give you a chance to play with different techniques to help find your way to peace, calm and appreciating the moment. Gentle Therapeutic Yoga: Alleviating Chronic Symptoms

This workshop with Katie is a chance to learn about yoga, neuroscience and how the two work together. We start the workshop with a nice herbal tea and some goodies while I chat about the 8 limbs of yoga and neurobiomechanics to introduce the concepts. Then we'll go through some breath work, eye exercises, movements and other "hacks" we can use to help our brains feel safe, which can reduce the severity of symptoms such as pain, anxiety, fatigue, brain fog and many more. The workshop finishes up with a lovely yoga nidra which is like a big warm cuddle for your soul.
